HE Mr. Ambassador Abdullah Mohamed Almowed met with the Minister of Defense Industry HE Mr Madat Guliyev.
HE Mr Madat Guliyev noted the existence of mutual respect and trust between Azerbaijan and Kuwait, and the high level of mutual cooperation in political, economic and other fields. Later, prospects of cooperation in the military-technical field between Azerbaijan and Kuwait were discussed. The minister brought to the ambassador's attention that the Ministry of Defense Industry was established on the personal initiative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev in 2005 in order to maintain the combat readiness of our Armed Forces at a high level. Ambassador Abdullah Mohamed Almoved, who expressed his satisfaction with the mutual support of both countries on various international platforms, emphasized the need to develop cooperation between the countries in various fields of the economy, including the defense industry. The meeting was held in conditions of constructive and mutual understanding.
