The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan issued on 15^th October 2021 a decision on easing and removing some restrictions related to precautionary measures to confront the corona virus Covid-19. According to the changes citizens of 23 more countries (among them the state of Kuwait) and citizens of other countries permanently residing in those countries, as well as stateless persons are allowed to enter and leave the Republic of Azerbaijan by air.

To depart from these countries to Azerbaijan, passengers must have a negative PCR test received within 72 hours before departure. In addition, persons over the age of 18 need to have a “Covid passport” or confirmation of recovery from corona virus infection, while persons under the age of 18 need to have a negative PCR test only received within 72 hours before departure.

أصدر مجلس وزراء جمهورية أذربيجان في 15/10/2021 قراراً خاصاً بتخفيف وإزالة بعض القيود المتعلقة بالإجراءات الإحترازية لمواجهة جائحة كورونا كوفيد - 19، حيث سمح القرار  لمواطني 23 دولة (من ضمنهم دولة الكويت) ومواطني الدول الأخرى المقيمين فيها، وكذلك الأشخاص عديمي الجنسية، بدخول جمهورية أذربيجان جواً، على أن يحمل المسافر شهادة PCR تكون نتيجتها سلبية وصالحة في غضون 72 ساعة من موعد السفر، بالإضافة إلى ذلك يجب على الأشخاص الذين تزيد أعمارهم عن 18 عامًا تلقي جرعتين من اللقاح المضاد لفايروس كورونا أو شهادة تؤكد تعافيه من العدوى، وللأشخاص الذين تقل أعمارهم عن 18 عامًا يجب الحصول على شهادة  PCR  فقط تكون نتيجتها سلبية وصالحة في غضون 72 ساعة من موعد السفر.
